What 30 Days Of Commitment Looks Like

It's amazing to think of how much you can accomplish in 30 days when you commit whole-heartedly to make changes. By taking the Goji Challenge and making the commitment to eat healthier and exercise daily, I have lost a total of six pounds and eight and a half inches.

Before Goji Play, I had a hard time sticking with a workout program. I would go full force for a week and then my interest would dwindle. Goji play keeps me motivated by helping me pass the time doing my cardio workout. On the days I didn't feel up to working out, I would tell myself "just do 10 minutes." I'd start playing games and, before I know it, 45 minutes had gone by and I'd finished my cardio for the day.

I have not only had weight loss during the challenge, but I've also gained as well. I know what you are thinking; "How can you have a loss and a gain?" The gain I am talking about is gaining strength, energy, confidence, and finding my fitness groove once again. Each day that I complete my workout, I get stronger. I feel more comfortable in my skin. My body is starting to change. I see it reflected on the scale, in measurements, and the way my clothes fit. I have a pair of my favorite shorts that I would have to squeeze into and lay on the bed to button the up. Now after completing this 30 day weight loss challenge, my shorts fit comfortably.

My original goal was to lose eight to ten pounds during the challenge. I can honestly say that I am happy with my six pound loss. I worked hard to get to this point. I will continue to work hard and continue my weight loss. I know with the help of Goji Play and continuing to track my meals I will succeed in getting to my goal weight.

I look forward to continuing my weekly blogs with all my achievements and struggles along my journey. I believe the workouts, tracking, and blogging have all been an important key to helping me stay accountable and motivated. Follow me as I continue my Goji Challenge and let’s encourage each other to eat healthy, workout and get in shape! If anyone has any suggestions for videos or websites I could use for strength training, please comment below.
