It’s no secret that we see Virtual Reality as the future of gaming, therapy and–with the current pandemic–socializing. It seems like every tech and video game company is trying to innovate and elaborate the most advanced VR experiences, to make them not only more entertaining but also more accessible. While hardly a perfected medium for content and entertainment, VR has come a long way in recent years.

Colorful notes slide toward the player as they place each of their hands in careful position to strike each note as it passes on the beat. Consecutive hits increase their total score as the pace of the music picks up.

The user is perched atop a high wall, overlooking a strikingly hexagonal landscape. Huts, caves, totem poles and angry cavemen dominate the landscape. Using the VR headset to aim at the aggressive cavemen, the user launches a cascade of rocks from their semi-automatic slingshot. It takes a few misses before their accuracy is dialed in, but soon only a single caveman remains.
